election day!

whether you're a donkey or an elephant, get your ass out there and vote today. in missouri, you can vote for stem cell research, a gi-normous tax on tobacco products, felonious politicians ability to get pension plans, minimum wage increase (wahoo!) and a bunch of judges that i've never heard of. the most popular vote today, though, i believe, is the race between jim talent and claire mccaskill. these two have been slinging crap at each other for a solid month, and it's ooc. no joke. one of the commercials actually says, "mccaskill's current husband has a business in bermuda. are you surprised?" i mean, what the hell does that have to do with her platform? it doesn't. and i don't like her at all...she's a particularly unpleasant woman. but, i don't think that it's fair to bring up her husband's mischeif, unless there's proof that she's involved too.

and be nice to the volunteers, no matter how unorganized and miserable they make your voting experience. they've given up their time to do this for you.
